Georgian Railways — Tunnel Mapping & Hologram

RESORB made 3D mapping and hologram visuals for a Georgian Railways opening; the film and stills on this page come from a test at a railway tunnel portal in Tbilisi in 2025.

During the test, the arch and the wall of the portal were mapped in 3D, and a hologram of light appeared in the mouth of the tunnel. The final show is not documented here.

The hybrid of façade mapping and holographic layers is the format RESORB also used for Infinity Gate: light-forms that seem to emerge from inside the architecture, here with the tunnel as the portal.

RESORB’s holographic work places the image in a volume of air rather than on a surface, with no headsets, no glasses and no LED.

Tbilisi is also where the studio's creative arm, Holograph Studio, is based; RESORB works from Berlin and Tbilisi.
