Georgian Railways — Tunnel Mapping & Train Hologram

For the launch of Georgian Railways’ new trains, RE:SORB mapped a historic tunnel portal in Tbilisi and let a hologram of the new train emerge from the tunnel in light.

For the launch of Georgian Railways’ new fleet in late 2025, RE:SORB turned a historic stone tunnel portal in Tbilisi into the stage of the opening ceremony: the arch and its masonry were mapped in 3D, and in the mouth of the tunnel a hologram of light appeared — the new train, arriving out of thin air.

The hybrid of façade mapping and holographic layers is the format RE:SORB developed with Infinity Gate: light-forms that seem to emerge from inside the architecture, here with the tunnel as the portal.
