Sharjah Light Festival — 2023–2026
Since 2023 RE:SORB has produced 3D mapping for the opening shows of the Sharjah Light Festival; in 2025 the studio mapped the Al Jadah mosque and created the content for the illuminated pillars of the festival zone.
The Sharjah Light Festival turns the emirate’s landmarks into canvases of light every February. Since 2023 RE:SORB has produced 3D mapping for the festival’s opening shows — landmark-scale work in the studio’s architectural tradition, from the Brandenburg Gate to the Bolshoi Theatre.
In 2025 the studio mapped the mosque at Al Jadah with a filigree of light drawn over its dome and minarets, and produced a fourteen-minute content loop for the illuminated pillars of the festival zone. The 2026 opening show followed.
