The Cathedral of the Infinite Scroll
For the Festival of Lights Berlin 2025, RESORB turned Charlottenburg Palace into a luminous cathedral of data, likes and algorithms that collapses into darkness and is reborn as organic light.

For the Festival of Lights Berlin 2025, RESORB transformed the baroque façade of Charlottenburg Palace into a luminous altar of data and algorithms. The show opens as a radiant cathedral of likes, feeds and notifications, then spirals into the hypnotic loop of the infinite scroll — where even a human hand dissolves into pixels the moment it touches the surface.
When the cathedral finally collapses into darkness, space opens up for organic waves of light and a slow, rhythmic pulse: a return to the essentials. The piece reflects on our devotion to machines, the loss of human presence in the attention economy and the possibility of renewal beyond the algorithm.
RESORB was one of three international studios invited to present 3D video mappings on the palace, alongside The Fox, The Folks (Indonesia) and ANIONA VISION (Romania).
