Infinity Gate — Boom Festival

Infinity Gate is a hybrid format: a mapped architecture extended into space through holographic layers of light in fog — the holograms returning to Boom Festival in 2022.

Infinity Gate is 3D mapping with holographic elements — a hybrid format in which the mapped architecture is extended into the space in front of it through holographic layers. The building’s arches, portals and openings become the source: light-forms appear as if they emerge from within the structure and hover in the air among the audience.

Shown at Boom Festival 2022, the installation brought RE:SORB’s large-scale holograms back to the festival and became the blueprint for later works such as ÆTHER, BEYOND and Depth/100.
